Enrolment options

This is a highly interactive and challenging workshop-style course, covering typical situations in which you will need to speak English in academic contexts. This course is open to all students from across the university with an intermediate to upper-intermediate level of English (B1-B2). The main areas of focus on this oral communication course include: delivering presentations, conducting a survey and actively participating in group discussions. Regular interaction with interesting and engaging reading and listening texts will provide the ideal platform in which to develop your speaking skills, in terms of your fluency, accuracy and pronunciation. We will also explore and review key areas of grammar and vocabulary in context so that you gain a deeper understanding about what language to use in different situations.
