The schools at the core of this course are Keynesianism, Monetarism, Marxism and the Austrian School. We will analyse a prominent version for each of them and connect them to their common and diverging histories. Comparing the shared aspects as well as the fault lines of these four schools allows the students to engage in-depth with public discourse on related topics.
