In this course, we will read about and discuss up-to-date research on different topics of developmental psychology, including perceptual development, cross-modal sensory integration, motor development, memory development, mathematical cognition and executive functions.
The course will be fully in English. Assessment will be based on an oral presentation in English on current research papers and a written hand-out. Active participation is required for obtaining course credit. Students will be expected to read up to 24 research articles and actively contribute in the discussion thereof. For each missed class, students will be required to write a paper summarizing two research articles on the topic they missed.
