The Language Learning Classroom II [SS 22]

This seminar is the second of two courses dealing with foreign language pedagogy. The first course (LLC I) provides an introduction to ELT discourse, teaching methodologies, teacher roles, classroom language, and the use of technology. This complementary course covers testing and assessment, error correction and feedback, task- and project-based learning (TBL/PBL), classroom management, student motivation, and the use of course books and self-designed materials. Both courses assume that participants will teach English in Swiss state schools at Secondary I level.
