The 'Netnography and Contemporary Religion' seminar teaches the basic skills for conducting online ethnography (or 'netnography'), and combines this with a theoretical discussion about the types of religious organization. The seminar involves a netnographic course project on a selected example of a contemporary religious community and supportive readings on online ethnography.
