Astrophysics produces every kind of data type : images, spectra, time traces, tables of astronomical objects properties, numerical models results. Astrophysics data handling is therefore a very good training for data analysis in  physics.  The course will introduce the data analysis with the Python programming language and the Spyder scientifc environment. The various tools for loading, manipulating, analysing and representing data will be presented as well as specific astrophysics tools packages. The different methods will be tested on real astrophysics datasets. At the end of the course the participants will have a set of ready-to-use scripts. The participant should have basic skills in programming but no knowledge of the Python language or astrophysics is required.
