This is a highly challenging workshop-style course, covering typical situations in which participants will need to use English in academic contexts. This course is open to all participants from across the university with a B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level of English. The main areas of focus of this course includes delivering presentations, participating in group discussions and improving essay writing skills. Regular interaction with interesting and engaging reading and listening texts will provide the ideal platform in which to develop your skills in terms of fluency, accuracy, grammar and vocabulary. This course can be taken alone or consecutively with the B2 Improving Academic English: Spring Semester.
