This content-driven, interactive workshop-format is aimed at students from across the university who need oral Academic English and can take responsibility for their own learning. It offers spontaneous and prepared speaking with a focus on seminar skills (and therefore some writing). If you want to develop engaging questions, examine texts & ideas, synthesize information, learn new words & concepts, co-construct discussions and give a researched oral (co-) presentation this is for you. Higher-intermediate B2+ is a learning plateau on which fluency, complexity and/or accuracy tasks may have to be tackled.
