This bloc course explores how interpersonal rejection shapes individuals and relationships. We will examine the concepts of rejection, rejection sensitivity, and related frameworks that help explain why people differ in how they perceive and respond to rejection. A second focus of the course is methodological: how to assess rejection‑related constructs, what it means to use these measures. The students will learn to evaluate instruments and consider the implications of measurement choices for research and clinical practice.

The course is divided into four sessions of 3,5 hours each. To validate the course, students must prepare and give a presentation in groups in the last session. Between each session, students will have some readings and preparation work to do for their presentation.
