The course will provide the students with the basic knowledge about the main concepts, methods and theories in Ritual Studies. The students will be introduced to the practice of field-based study of ritual by conducting an ethnographic mini-research about a chosen form of ritual (religious / secular), involving the skills of planning and conducting a research, analytical work and writing.
