Teaching Objectives
Students will learn an overview of the basic concepts on diagenetic alterations in sediments based on physical and chemical parameters. Attention will be paid on integrating macro- and micro-scale sedimentological and geochemical techniques used in diagenetic studies.
Participants can identify and differentiate diagenetic domains and their products. They can also establish a paragenetic sequence.
