The seminar introduces in epistemology and social theories in order to sensitize geography students to different approaches of truth, reality, objectivity and its methodological implications. Classical theory of constructivism and methodological anarchism (P. Feyerabend), discourse theory (M. Foucault), marxism (H. Lefebvre), constructivist structuralism (P. Bourdieu), resonance theory (H. Rosa) or poststructuralism (J. Butler) will be presented through text readings and extensive discussion during the seminar.
